Tour The Vineyard Course:

Image of Course Tour East After years of remodeling and construction, the Vineyard course is in its final configuration. The last change was quite spectacular as it added four new holes "on top of the world." The new holes play as numbers three through six and offer magnificent panoramic views as they are at the highest elevation in Oxnard. The new layout plays as a par 35 front-nine and a par 37 back-nine, and the finishing hole is the signature "Island hole." Unlike most courses, the Vineyard does not return to the clubhouse after nine holes. Instead, we have food and beverage available after the sixth and thirteenth holes. We hope you enjoy the course and look forward to your comments. Tour the Vineyard course here

Tour The Victoria Lakes Course:

The Victoria Lakes course presently plays as a nine-hole track from a temporary trailer off Victoria Avenue. We should have the remaining nine-holes open by the spring of 2008, and at that time, both courses will start and finish at the clubhouse on Vineyard Ave. Victoria Lakes is one of the best kept courses in the County and features pure bent grass greens and Greg Norman hybrid bermuda tees and fairways. The course also features over six acres of water that comes into play on five of the nine holes. If you don't have time for 18, try this great nine-hole challenge. Current Projects:

New Practice Putting Green

When the final nine holes are built, the existing 15th and 16th holes at the Vineyard course will become the new 1st and 2nd holes at the Victoria Lakes course. In addition, the existing Vineyard 17 and 18 will become the final two holes for Victoria Lakes. To accomplish this transition, we have built a new green behind the existing 16th green, and the 15th, 17th, and 18th greens will be rebuilt using pure bent grass. While this project is in progress, we’ll build a new practice putting green and starter kiosk behind the current 15th tee. The new putting green will be pure bent grass and serve as a warm-up area for golfers playing the Victoria Lakes course. This new green will be near the first tee but far enough away not to distract players on the tee.

New Fairway Bunkers at 15

The existing hole 15 will become hole 1 for the Victoria Lakes course and feature a “double fairway.” Golfers may choose, off the first tee, to play the original (right-side) fairway or the new (left-side) routing. Although the new left side is slightly shorter than the right, the approach shot goes over the front left bunker and is far more challenging. Right between the two fairways will be a series of fairway bunkers to keep everyone honest! A new cart path is already installed down the left side of the fairway and will take players to the new tees that will be used for the second hole.
